During a failed art heist, the Djinn is once again liberated. This time, to complete the 1001 wishes that he needs before the final 3, he lets himself go to prison, where he starts his evil reign twisting the hopes of the prisoners. Meanwhile, the woman who set him free accidentally, Morgana, tries to find a way to stop him, aided by a young priest.
Divoff still kills it as the Djinn, and though _Wishmaster 2_ is far superior to either of the films in the franchise that follow it, instead of taking everything that worked about the first movie and expanding upon it, _Evil Never Dies_ takes only half of the things that worked in the first film and then does less with them. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work ...
